Our Story
The entire world is watching the horrific events as they unfold in Ukraine.
Our passion developed into a campaign when we saw that brave Ukrainian freedom fighters were facing Putin's army wearing only the clothes they had on, when they urgently left their homes due to the war.
Since many governmental and non-governmental organizations are focusing on humanitarian aid, we decided to put our efforts into raising funds to support the purchase of non-lethal, protective gear.
We've teamed with Ukrainian organizations that have established supply lines for this gear, some for as long as eight years or more.
We hope that you'll join us in this initiative to provide protection for peace.
About US
Many people are looking for ways to urgently help the Ukrainian people! Due to the immediate necessity for the world to unite against Putin's unprovoked aggression, and raise awareness for the crisis in Ukraine, we created The Vest Project.
We are fundraising to purchase protective gear for the Ukrainian people who have ended up in the front lines with nothing more than street clothes. The entire free world is mobilizing to help the people of Ukraine, as it is our moral obligation.
This fundraising initiative was created by Cindie D’Agostino and Lori Burns who collectively have experience fundraising, event planning and project management for nonprofits, charities and organizations. Its heartwarming to see how many people have already reached out to offer support and assistance.
As well as accepting monetary donations, we'll be organizing many fundraisers to raise awareness of this campaign and to reach as many people as possible.
